Jupiter Report: Saturday 9/25

Very confused seas topside and the day started out with 4 - 6's coming from different directions. But the afternoon really layed down and forecast for Sunday look outstanding.

Dove Emerald, who has moved their boat just a few steps north to the Blowing Rocks Marina. Back up your car, drop tanks and gear and pull out to park. It's really easy and sweet.

Dove the deep ledge and shallow stuff. Current was ripping at 3 knots but viz was almost unlimited 1st dive. Shallow dives was a hint of east current push and maybe 1 knot northbound. Water temps 79 with no thermos all day anywhere. I learned that Huge Black grouper when spooked can swim faster backwards in a stiff current than you can.

Bubble Junkie, Chuckitall, Propman, Steve-O, RJ, Marcel and a few other Spearboarders were filling the cooler today. Propman hit the biggest hog at over 9 pounds. Sunday is going to be really sweet if you don't have to do work like me.

Alot of people hit limits easily on bugs, but the best on the boat today was newly certified Noah. I've never seen someone smile while puking, and then grab his gun yelling "let's go!" Noah was incredible all day along and put his 1st fish in the cooler.

Johnoly, Noah, Chuckitall, Propman
