I figure you only meet that fish with 2 results, stone shot or lost gun. Great fish man. That thing is amazing. Id only have the balls to freeshaft a fish like that.

I think it was a pretty clear cut case of self defense. I would have been scared.....not to scared to pull the trigger.... but scared.
