Gopro camera mount for WONG Spearguns?

Will soon be buying a couple of gopro's to mount on 50"GR and 60" Supermag Wong hybrids. just doing some homework and want to make sure about proper camera mounts for the Wongs. A point in the right direction would be appreciated.

Make yourself a simple right angle bracket with holes where you can attach it to the gun via the trigger pin holes, and attach the camera to the bracket using the tripod mount and screw. Conceptually similar to this: http://www.scubasworld.com/proddetai...aSpeargunMount

You'll be able to mount pretty much any camera with standard threads, as well.

Sorry if this makes too much sense, but have you thought about buying one Gopro and using it on both guns? You're probably never going to shoot two guns at the same time, so why a camera for each gun? Money to burn?

You can easily swap the camera out between guns. Just a thought...

Hi mr. Paul, i want 2 gopros because LJ and i are diving together and will have others with us sometimes and sometimes will be split up in different areas and dont want to be stuck with one to share. Money to burn? man i wish i had that problem. lol not at all.

Slap the flat 3M sticky mount on the side of the gun. The adhesive on those things is insane. I have a little leash on mine juuust in case, but I've never had any real concern that it would pop off.

+1! If you properly prep the surface? The 3M heavy duty tape on the base will remove paint and wood, before it will fall off.

properly prep surface? remove paint and wood? guys any other guns i wouldnt care but these are brand new Wongs! i feel better finding proper mounts!

Well you can always man up and drill a few holes in the new guns and install the threaded inserts. Wong sells them on his website.

Or use a head strap, or wrist mount.

Oh but the drilled insert? If it were to get torn off will remove paint and wood also!
