A new "hybrid gun"...

Instead of getting rid of old/ ruined spearguns I have been using years ago, I preferred to fix an "hybrid 130cm speargun"...
It is made with 3 pieces:

- Devoto Sub 120 cm wood muzzle
- 120 Omer carbon barrel
- C4 carbon 120 grip
- Devoto Sub barrel

Each part is interlocked with a piece of broomstick...
After about 2h jobs It seemed to me I was discovering a new gun!

I don't like it personally, but that doesn't matters. Do you like it? Perfect!

Re: A new "hybrid gun"...

I did some tests with the gun in my swimming pool: The gun seems to be well balanced... but unfortunately water percolated trough the Omer barrel. I cannot now dismantle the three gun parts...
I'm not a D.I.Y. champ and need suggestions. Should I improve the watertightness by filling the barrel with stuff like foam or?
Thank,s for your experienced feedback!

Re: A new "hybrid gun"...

Don't fill it with nothing as nothing is lighter than air itself (well, maybe argon or other gases, but not any solid). Just stick a couple rubber plugs into the barrel and puor some epoxy or silicone sealant above just for safety.
