Anyone Willing To Show Me How?
I have always wanted to shoot a halibut. However, I have never seen one in the wild, let alone get close to landing one. Is anyone willing to take a 'butt newbie out and show him the ropes? I have read the "Halibut FAQ" and seen pictures of them in their natural habitat, but that is a lot different than being in the water. I imagine it would go something like: I follow you around and you show me when you see one, then I watch you shoot it. repeat. Then I will go off on my own and try.
