Simple 58" Padauk Midhandle

So I'm really stoked on this gun that was put together by two local (nor cal) guys for me. It's maiden voyage will be on the upcoming Horizon trip.

Specs:
58" Midhandle
4 Vertical Lams of Padauk
Deep Open Track
Tin Man Handle and Slide Trigger
Houge AR Grip
Neptonics Reef Mech
9/32" Shaft
3 - 9/16" Bands

There's still a few more things I'd like to do once I get back but I'm happy with it for now.

Pictures...sorry about the quality (Camera Phone)

Thanks for looking

Scott

Plain and simple, nothing wrong with that. What's the length of pull?

From the center of the band slot to the center tab is just shy of 50". Hopefully I can get some blood on it.

Nice work Scott!!
Have you floated it in the pool yet, and did you add any lead?
Hey, guess where I went this weekend?

I wish I could take credit for the work Rich. I just told Morgan what I wanted and he a Jared put it together. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to fully complete to build. Currently there isn't any ballasting on the gun so the muzzle floats too much with the shaft in. I swam around with it though and it seems manageable. Worst comes to worst I have a 130 RA and 63" Teak M.H. for backup.

If I had to guess I'd say you went south of the border...and I'd say you guys did pretty good
