Intro + Thanks Captain Leo

CAPTAIN LEO: Had my second spearfishing adventure and first speared fish yesterday thanks to Captain Leo. And he was right, those friendly orange fishes really are delicious

I had contacted Captain Leo asking if I could pay for freediving/spearfishing training and he generously suggested I just come along as a dive buddy. What a nice guy, loaned me his gloves and stringer, put up with the usual questions, even drove. If anyone is interested in putting together a group of 5-6 to charter his boat count me in.

INTRO: Middle-aged. Former military. Scuba certified but rusty. Infrequent land hunter but have been lucky enough to do so in interesting places like Alaska - interested in meat not trophies. Located in San Diego County. Primary hobbies are long-distance shooting (precision rifle) and photography.

Oh, better clarify before Captain Leo gets a visit from Fish 5-O... I shot a Pargo, tasted pretty good, better than Tilapia anyway.

Haha, Derek is a really good guy. I also think he meant to say Sargo. Can't remember ever seeing a Pargo up this way. Derek missed a shot on a nice calico, but got a good shot on one of the bigger sargo that you'll see roaming around the reef. Thanks for the props!

I think Tom might have heard something about taking a dump in someone's deckboots. But I don't think it's true.

That is a refreshing change from the fourteen year old middle school girl drama that other people like to whine about.
