Safe Spot
So I finally just got my gear and will be getting into the water for the first time soon. I live in Los Angeles, any place you guys recommend? I also have a friend who will join me who is also new to this. Willing to go from PV to VenturaIsh area. Just want a easy spot to enter and exit where the water is calm... Any tips will help. Appreciate it!

Re: Safe Spot
I live right next to Cabrillo Beach. PM me if you want to dive from there. It's usually very calm and the Pt. Fermin kelp beds aren't too far away.

Re: Safe Spot
I've been to Leo Carrillo once. Very easy entry there too. Just don't go in over the rocks.
