Re: light issue

Make sure that there is no hair or sand on the o-ring, and that it has some DC-111 on it. If the o-ring is not the issue then you may have some kind of major problem with the light. Be careful with it because I've heard of other peoples lights flooding, building up pressure, then exploding.

Basically the o-ring is the seal, so if it is leaking then it must be from there, or some kind of crack in your light.

It could be a leaking switch too. What kind of light is it?

t.
Even if they don't explode, they can build up enough pressure that when you remove the cover, they spray battery acid/saltwater mix everywhere.

I had that happen to me a while back and caught it right in the eye. It was a pretty shitty night.

Re: light issue

you mentioned that it is new... any reason you haven't returned it or contacted the manufacturer?
