My first Laguna Report 12/8/2011

After hearing about you guys report the visibility in Laguna i went out today in south laguna at around noon and the conditions were amazing( well for a noob spearfisher anyways). i managed to catch my biggest Calico shot with 6 foot JBL 3 prong and grabbed my first lobster that was legal size and i was able to take home with me . i would have said the vis was 25-30 then it started to get worse as the day went on.

I used my pole spear to kinda get it out of its cave then grabbed him with my hand. although this strategy hasn't been working ever since hahah

I know you are just Kidding about using your pole spear to help you catch the Lobster. Good Job on Just Using your hands to catch that Lobster. Its not easy to catch Lobsters using just your hands, but you have shown us it can be done!

Drive around until you see floats in the water, that's where the commercial traps are. Then dive in and use your pole spear to get the bugs out of them

All jokes aside, time to read the DF&G reg's before you get yourself a fat ticket, or worse.
