MAKO's New Polespear

While surfing around on the mako website I saw that starting January they were making their own Polespear. It is convertible for lionfish or normal hunting. What do y'all think?

Yeah, I saw that, too.

They will have them in stock next month.

Traveling Pole Spear
Lion Pole Spear
Head for Lion Pole Spear (easy to get off)
Head for Traveling Pole Spear (with barbed tips)

Oddly, now I could not find that page. Umm...

Yeah I think they took it down. I swear it was there though. Haha I'm not seeing things.

Re: MAKO's New Polespear

Without knowing any better, it looks very similar to the pole spears out of Australia such as Undersee.

It is a large female thread and that will mean an unusual adapter, if you want to fit for example a flopper shaft.

At the price Mako is offering the travel pole spear, it sure looks like a good buy.

Mike.

Mike.

At that price its gonna be hard not to get one... Id rather have a travel polespear over this dinky 5 foot fiberglass one I have thats just taking up room in the gear bag and closet.
