| All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective. |

wow I can feel the frustration in the video. Most people wouldn't even think of getting in that water though so way to go, bummer about the tip...

"You should work on that breath hold haha jk"
Id find out how long I could hold my breath in ice water before ribbing him too much. I dont think in those conditions I could even exhale let alone breath up. jeremy

I can't believe you were in that water...polar bear diver haha. Very awesome. I have a sea stinger and I haven't had any of the problems anyone is describing. I always double check it to make sure the ball is lined up with the notch. The only thing that I would do to the sea stinger is make is more rust proof and use a harder steel. I always rinse my gear first thing when I get home and mine has a rusted a little. The tip on mine is getting dull and I dont hit rocks...often hahaha. Use a powerhead on the carp and I promise he won't get away =P

You are one tough badass and you must really like to kill stuff to brave that water to shoot a fish you don't eat. Well I wouldn't eat it anyway.

I had the same problem with my sea stinger. I called Arron Crist and he custom made me an 18 inch shaft with a flopper and put different rubber on it. I couldnt be happier. He also did a sand grip on it. I also just ordered one of his bigger spear so prob won't use the sea stinger as much anymore.
