Rob Allen or Wong Shafts for Euro Gun

Can anyone comment on the quality of the Wong euro shafts? I've heard a lot of good things about the RA shafts, but not much about the Wong shafts.

Thanks

Because they're a lot more expensive.

I've been using Mori shafts for years and they are very nice. But I use slip tips, and have never had a shaft bend in a white sea bass or yellowtail, even though I usually use 9/32" shafts, so I guess I can look at a Mori shaft as a long term investment.

But if you use flopper shafts and/or shoot fish such as grouper or big snapper that frequently bend your shafts, the difference in price could be significant. The plated shafts are a lot more resistant to bending, and cheaper to replace when they do bend.

Actually price isn't the issue. I don't plan on buying that many of them. I just want a straight shaft that will hold up.

Jolinedaniel,

I'll check the brands you mentioned.

Thanks

The new Spearmaster (KJ) Universal Euro shaft is another possibility you could consider.

Very similar to the RA but with a slightly different cut at the back that makes it suitable for those Euro guns that RA will not latch into it.

Available with full tabs.

Check it out on our website.

Thanks,
Mike.
