Another opportunity perhaps???
From looking at the surf report, looks like we are going to have light winds all week

OH WELL, looks like I will be using my polespear.Going to try and go out tomorrow and see if I can see anything. keeping my fingers crossed. |

It will be flat calm and great viz Monday thru Friday from here on out. Reason I know this is I am starting a new job today and won't be able to get any days off for the first 3 months. Now for the surfers, expect massive swells breaking out to 40 nautical miles every Saturday and Sunday. These weekend days will also exhibit chocolate milk type clarity. Disclaimer: I'm always wrong, so your mileage may vary. Good luck to everyone in the upcoming season!

I will. But looks like the forcast has gone to crap...
Will check the clarity this weekend on my way to work, but at this point I am not too hopeful. @slingshaft, thanks man, I will make sure to keep you posted if i see an opportunity arise in the future. Just order a 90cm gun from mako and I am itching to try it out when it gets here. |

No, I didn't. Figure I would try it out first and see how it goes. Also bought all new snorkeling gear with it so I didn't really want to drop the extra cash. I am in college, and money doesn't grow trees
 . Figure that i will buy one this summer or buy a float line. Idk which yet though.

I just got a Mako 70cm for my B-day, it's an awesome gun. Quick to load and nail another mangrove to load the stringer with.

No fortune teller, but thinking that if you can get to the north jetty at port a, the conditions will be good for spearing. Today would be good too. Nearly jumped in the channel, would have if the current weren't so strong. Good blue water at the tip and in the channel of the south jetty. Don't know what the north jetty looked like. If conditions hold, ie if we don't get a gust storm and if there is no wind tomorrow, I am taking the jetty boat out to the north jetty.
