Sony DCS-P93

I don't know much about digital cameras and I need some advise.I was thinking about geting a Sony DCS-P93 with an underwater housing. Is this a good camera for the price?Or what camera with around the $300(not including housing) price range would be good to get?

I own that camera and it works great. Takes amazing photos. All digital cameras have flaws such as slow relfex time and poor zoom.

Although once you learn how to use it properly it is perfect for everyday phototaking.

i just got the p73 for christmas and have been learning how to use it.

i'm anxious for the housing so i can start getting some underwater stuff.

as for the $135 housing on ebay...was that an auction that ended about a week ago? cause i was watching that same one. i was pissed i forgot about it and missed the end...i was gonna make a bid.

Ebay

There ara 4 different auctions going on right now for that housing (SONY MPK-PEA).I have been watching some for a while and usually when the auction is over, the seller will put up another one up for auction the next day or so.

Try pricegrabber.com, they will find it for you, narrow down your choices starting with the cheapest... I tried it for a few things and its better than waiting on ebay most of the time, just type in description of item and go... frank

I have a P93 and it's a great camera. The video is very impressive for a digital camera when you use the 1 GB stick. I have the housing as well. You should be able to get it for 130 -135 with shipping via Ebay (be patient). I haven't really tried the camera underwater yet other than some pool play.
