The wisdom of crowds - take 1.

For those now familiar with the concept - google it quickly as it is interesting and it does apply to our sport.

Enter exhibit A - a new take on "push for photo" or "lie through your teeth about the fish you got". For reference Dave is 6' and 180lb.

How big do you estimate the front fish to be? lb and or size...
How big do you estimate the back fish to be? lb and or size...

I know the real numbers from Dave and I'm open to offers for those who want to get it right 100%.

That would make both fish illegal in NY.

Honk if you ever went to the fish market dressed in your wetsuit to pose with fish for photos!

Yess!! Wisdom of the crowds comes through!
The "front" fish is 29", the "back" fish is 34"!
Here are the same fish in a different presentation...

Obviously Dave observed all NY rules and he didn't land the two fish by himself.

Re: The wisdom of crowds - take 1.

This is some interesting stuff. I had never heard of "crowd wisdom". Cool thread to test it out too. I wish you would have let the bidding go on longer

On a side note its crazy what camera angles and fish position can do to how a fish appears too. Even in the pics I take when I'm trying to get an accurate pic its crazy how you can get the "reverse push effect" on some pics and make a big fish look tiny.

I just noticed take 1..................... Can't wait to see 2
