23 ft Bayliner Trophy 1989 twin Force 125's
My mother & father are getting up in age and can no longer use this boat. I have two vessels and this is too big for my vehicle anyway! Located in San Antonio Texas off of Roosevelt St. Here goes on the info.:
1989 Bayliner Trophy with Cuddy cabin--needs a buff and there are scratches & dings commensurate with age. All cosmetic and no structural problems or soft spots. Twin 125 Force outboards--run great now! Galvenized trailer with decent tires and spare. Not sure about brakes. Rebuilt stearing with new cable. Electric windlass. Both motors have new impellors & portside has new headgasket. Couple of fish finders and a radio--unknown if they work. Needs a new compass. Two new seats added. Contact me to view 210-416-9975. Boatyard is handling sale & test runs. And yes, they parked it crooked on last run--swabs. I am going to attempt to load pictures. I have more if needed. Now for the low down--first $5500 CASH USD **FIRM** takes the boat and trailer. Any attempts to negotiate on price will ruin my day and terminate the conversation.

Even with the motors running well at the moment, you'll probably have a hard time moving the boat with those Force engines. The boat itself is actually a damn good boat. One of my best friends has the same boat and year but he swapped the twin Force 125's for a single 175 Merc. It's an awesome boat now. Best of luck with the sale.

Thanks for the reply! The motors are in tip top shape not--a litle sun faded but the boat yard worked over the carbs, replaced the impellors and the port side head gasket. Plenty of power--tows skiers great and can get off shore fast. Actually had the motors sold for $3 K but don't want to split the group.

I'm really not trying to be a jerk, but if you can get $3k for those motors, jump on it! Go to thehulltruth.com and search Force motors...

Thanks Smudge. Stay in California and play in someone else's sandbox. I stand by what I've posted and individuals can check this craft out in person. And you may not be trying to ...but you are being a jerk. I personally don't like Fords but that's what makes the world go round.

Re: 23 ft Bayliner Trophy 1989 twin Force 125's
A 23 year old Bayliner, with Force motors... ( not exactly in "Bristol Condition"....)
I think you were too hard on Smudge, he was being kind, and trying to help you. I do like the hinges on the forward deck hatch tho....( 8th picture, In the first post) The only thing better than that is this; |

Re: 23 ft Bayliner Trophy 1989 twin Force 125's
Thanks Seatux! My frustration with Dad over this vessel probably colored my response to Smudge--public appology duly proclaimed!
![]() Seriously--he wouldn't use it but once a year. Get the impellors replaced, buy tires, buy new batteries, & then get it wet--Mom would flake out and then he'd park it covered--for another year. Repeat cycle. ![]() I finally got him to admit he'd be better off hiring a guide, go with me, or watch a fishing show (all without my blessed mother along). Now I am tasked with getting the boat sold. I should go to the Amazon Forest and disappear.
