Re: diver found dead off Lake Worth

RIP and condolences to the family. Rhody youre a tool... it say "and a family member went out on a dive". One can only speculate that you must be totally without brains and compassion... imagine you just lost a loved one, were there when it happened, and then have to read your assinine comments on top of it all?? A tool...

Sounds like no dive partner. Darwin strikes again!

Rhodyhunter you stupid, Fukking Azz clown! What the Fukk is a dive partner going to do when you die underwater besides recover the body? I'll bet You're another one of those padi douches diving under the false security of the dive buddy system. I think some of you douches think as long as you have one of your glory hole buddies with you underwater you can't die down there...

My prayers to the family and friends and my apologies for the dumbazz comment from rhodyhunter who thinks he's a diver...

Condolences to his family and friends.

If Mr. Fisher was visiting from Oklahoma, I wonder if he was renting or if he owned his own equipment, when the last time his reg was checked/rebuilt.

We all solo dive for the most part, it's the risk we take for the rewards we seek.

At 59 he lived on the edge, God bless him.

I think Rhody has recognized his mistake and pointing it out like this is not even constructive or coherent..

As for the "PADI douches"? PADI teaches solo diving as a course now.. Many of the studies paid for by PADI have discovered that you may not be any safer diving with a partner as you are solo diving.

Simply put, we have no idea why this guy passed and we may never know since these investigations don't always become public.

RIP

It is both by definition! Just because you don't like SOD, too bad. This isn't China and I tell it like it is... As for padi and their dive program(s) I think they suck (that's my opinion).

Let's not derail this thread. Argue elsewhere. My prayers go out to the family. I hope we can lean more about what happened to help us be safer divers.

So, The truth hurts? Two is one, One is none. That's the rule.
THEY were stupid to lose sight of each other. Period!
Have you ever heard the saying: When sex was safe and diving dangerous? well people, they're both dangerous these days.
I have no compassion for people who don't use common sense, and don't care for Another idiot cluttering the gene pool. MY opinion. Do YOU dive alone? Then you are testing your fate and taking your life in your own hands. Good luck
P.S. You bleeding hearts are amusing.

Rhody, you're out there. You're either an old jarhead, or a wanna-be-jarhead. Either way, you're washed up now and your sniper sticker won't convince me otherwise. I know plenty of old Admin. Clerks and POG's that retire from the corp and talk like they were somebody. Your age puts you in the line for prime-time combat via Gulf Storm - and we all know how awesome that conflict was.

A man lost his life diving by what will likely be no fault of his own. Leave it at that. He's no idiot stinking up the gene pool. That's a person whose family had to witness his lifeless body be brought back from the deep and will never know his company again. Show some respect. Any true serviceman would know how to garnish that - at least.

I dive alone 9 times out of 10. Most people on here dive the same way. It's a recognized from of diving and spear fishing. There's little a buddy can do for you unless he's up your ass - end of story.

I don't think much of you. I doubt you're even a real fish killer. We all know you can't be a real sniper, so you and that sticker need to take your show on the road.

Respect to the lost. May we all perish in a place we love.

Well said, no military person I have ever known would have so little respect for the passing of a family member......

I tried to help defend Rhody a bit, just thinking he made an off the cuff comment and didn't think about.. Now, he comes out to defend this.. Idiot..

I agree, no member of the military would be this insensitive to a family losing someone, EVEN if it was his fault (which we may never know).

Diving IS dangerous and even some of the best in the sport have died while diving.

Rhody, just go away!!

Re: diver found dead off Lake Worth

He's like that all the time in P+R... a real class act. If you're not military, Rhody thinks you should spend the rest of your days kissing his ass for serving and telling him how awesome he is.

Condolences to the family... at least he passed doing what he loved. Alot of us won't have that opportunity.

PS. Solo diving rules.

What pisses me of is you're doing the same shit John Murtha and everybody else did to the Marines...you're arm-chair quarterbacking this situation knowing about what went on only from what you know from a very brief and vague press release. That's it ,pal.

I can nearly promise you, Rhody was no operator. Maybe a radio operator, but not one in the military operator sense. Isn't that right, Rhody?

The sniper tag convinces me your right on both counts. Kinda reminds me of Secret Cove.
