Malibu/County line, Channel Islands

Looking for a few divers to buddy up with on weekends and for night dives after all this crud clears up. Wife won't let me dive alone anymore and I'm tired of making up dive buddies. Expert to beginner, lets dive! Marty

Both, I dive with scuba divers too. I usually freedive though, unless the bugs are in over sixty feet during the day, thirty feet at night. I live in Camarillo, but I'll drive as far south as Palos Verdes and as far north as Coral Beach. I usuall kayak dive but am up for finnin' it too. Marty Farrell

Re: Malibu/County line, Channel Islands

No I missed the fun dive, but would like to go another time or have one up our way some time. Sounds like fun but I get kind of grumpy when a mob of spearos jump in the water all at once and scare off every living thing within two miles. Okay, I'll stop being negative now The water is getting clearer with the offshore winds, so thats good news. Talk to you later, Marty

Re: Malibu/County line, Channel Islands

I know this is a month later, but I just saw the thread.I'd love to hook up with you and dive, especially the islands. This is my busiest time of year tho, so it may have to wait till next month (march-april). I've fished and dove all the channel islands extensively and know how to scrub boats and clean fish. I also live next to PV so if you're interested, shoot me a pm. Thanks!
