Rob Allen 100 cm Build..ANOTHER roller project inside

Okay guys, Im not even done with my pathos guns and already im starting another roller gun project.

Started off as a fully functional 100 cm closed muzzle rob allen aluminum.








The first modification i have done is....well..a line hide...i guess...i dont even know what the hell to call it or if its ever been done before. I took the bottom screw in the handle out cut the two parts that meet to hold the swivel and clip on and it left me with the top through screw that holds the hand grip down...I will 5200 that when its call said and done. But ultimately i have been able to stuff about 45-50 feet of this line into the handle..all with a clip that is held in with two bungies on the handle. If this handle were designed a little wider, you could easily stuff 75 feet in there...it took a few tries to get it in and able to release without issues but with a simple wrapping method i think have been able to make it work. I have pulled the line out 4 times already, and re-packed it in the handle and had no real kinks or knots...so...so far..its worked on the surface.



figure 8 wraps uncoil perfectly and fit in great..



I make the packs about this size, (3 of them) and stuff them in carefully.




Next in store are a Meandros Reverse trigger mech, MVD roller muzzle, a fresh new paint job and a few special custom mods in store later on....stay tuned...this build should be fun!!!

I added the line to the handle in case i need to let go of the gun. It was sort of a silly idea that came to fruition.. I sort of planned on put on a reel on this gun, but am still unsure. I figured i would be rigging this with either a break away or have it attached to a float line...still not sure...

My plan is to have the roller muzzle and add a second standard band to the axle or via other anchoring point. I know ill have some tinkering to do, but i want to make this gun have some serious range and keep it all in a tight package.

Based off my pathos experience. The damn gun doesn't even need a second band...but..I'm just a Keys redneck and am going to try it either way.


I was going to keep it a normal tube gun, but there is a chance i might add some heft with poly body filler to the gun and work in a nice cuddle fish shape and wrap in some glass matt or maybe carbon....the sky is the limit and i have some crazy ideas for this gun.

On a completely unrelated subject, I cannot say with 100% certainty, but Im fairly certain I was in Cali or Oregon when I started this exercise plan....

i drew up 4 different shapes i liked and narrowed it down to one....you'll see what i came up with hopefully soon....finally all these years of rebuilding jet ski hulls comes into good use...this gun is gunna look pretty slick when Im done with it.

cool thing about this tuff, is by the time i get one side done, all i need to do is flip it over and can start working on the other side. Gaining mass...

Can really feel the added weight too. Ill be sure to balast it properly when its all said and done. I ran out of sand paper and running low on body filler. Ill "re-up" on supplies tomorrow and hopefully have it finished or almost by friday...

found more sand paper and i think i have enough body filler to do what i need. It all has to be done by hand right now. Ill put the double muzzle on the gun and take it for a shoot tomorrow. I need to get out and if the weather is good, im going to try and go spearing for a few hours.

You can sort of use this line as reference on how much Ive added to the bottom of the gun. At its lowest point it reaches about mid way down the trigger guard. Im about stoned on body filler fumes and i ran out of air in my scuba tank.....Ive been breathing through a reg while doing sanding to keep the dust out my lungs.
