Re: Katrina Mississippi plume tracking
Interesting. Man, did you see the on-site report at the bottom. Charter boat off the coast of Florida came upon debris in the water. They discovered cows and three human corpsus in the debris pile. Horrible.

Re: Katrina Mississippi plume tracking
Looks like eventually some of them plumes may be hitting the grounds, or even inshore gulf coast.

THIS SITE OFTEN FOR DAILY UPDATES ** (last updated Monday 12 SEPTEMBER 2005 4:00 P.M.) ZOOMROFFS™ HOMEWhen Viewing These AnalysesOn-site report: Thanks for sending the imagery. I was at a meeting this evening and it was reported that a charter boat encountered massive debris 16 NM South of Navvare (half way to Pensacola from Destin). Included in the debris field were 3 human corpses, multiple cows and horses, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. I have not been able to get out since I hit a piece of floating debris and blew a transmission. I hope to be operational by the weekend. Fuel is scarce in our area. The charter boats are limited to 50 gallons per day for the immediate future. Recreational boats are out of luck. Gas is unavailable at the marina's. Fuel was at $4.99 two days ago but starting to comeback down to 2.99 tonight if they have it. |
