I got certified at Scuba Quest on Orange Blossom Trail. I was happy with their instructors and still use them today. I don't know what they charge now days but here's their number.

Oceans Unlimited in Altamonte 407-862-5489 (Dawn)

Wet N Fl in Lake Mary 407-322-5914 (Phil)

Tell them Mike sent you. Both are good shops that will be competitive on their prices and give you good deals on equipment.

Phil at Wet N Fla is a good instructor. Might not look like it when you walk in, but apperances can be decieving. He knows his stuff and is very patient and helpful. That's where my GF and several others are going to get certified this summer. His number is 407-322-1848. He'll make you a deal on your equipment also and he amtches prices on his stuff. ONly carries quality equipment, no CRAP! Good luck to your friend. Tell phil that Mike and Brad sent ya and he'll take good care of you. He's also got the cleanest air in town!
