Need a Boca dive operator.

Any recommendations on a dive operator in or near Boca? I'm down here on business and just happened to drag my gear along. Looking for something easy, say a 60' sightseeing float like a jelly fish drift dive . Haven't been wet since December.

Tx,
Dan

Re: Need a Boca dive operator.

Hi Guys I just registered here allthough I have been reading a long time. I am one of the Captains of Pelican Dive Charters out of Boynton also. Splashdown is a great boat but Lynn has gone no spear. We leave from the same marina and are very spear friendly.

At the moment we have spots open for our Sat morning dive 04/08 and perhaps Sun PM 04/09

email me if you want to dive.

Why wait so long to become a member if you run a spear friendly charter? we are always broadening our horizons and wanting to try new spots

Re: Need a Boca dive operator.

Thanks for all of the contacts. We wound up doing a 3rd reef floater out of Hillsboro on Saturday am. Great bottom conditions, 50-60' vis, 77degrees on the bottom and the current was easy on us. Didn't see anything you spearo's would be excited about, did spot 6 bugs and the usual small reef fish. The top however was a different story, 3-5 with a short interval, it was a chunkin day for some.

Re: Need a Boca dive operator.

Hi Guys.

I have been reading the board for a while. Good place for tips. I have only recently become involved in Pelican as a Captain. I have been diving of her for some time. So I joined. With so many boats going no spear I decided we should have a spearboard voice. Anyone who wants to go on our mailing list can email me with there name and chosen email address and I will gladly add them. You get reports and pictures and updates etc.
Thanks for the welcome.

Capt Mike Rose
