Any reports form San diego????..........

Lets here em, did SASK get a huge WSB again? Did Rick Dawg ever kill his Halibut? Come on and post ......

Heres an update on my stupid boat....

Engine is perfect now, it just needed an 80$ fuel pump, but then the water pump impeller needed to be replaced. I broke all 5 bolts that hold the Lower Unit on the Outboard. Now Im fooked.

Does anyone know how to get broken and majorly corroded stainless steel bolts out of an alluminum case? Bolts are 1/2 inch.
Ive allready broken 3 Easy Outs.

Anyone have any experience in something like this?

Drill it out to the biggest diameter possible with out cutting into the threads when using the easy out. Don't break the easy out off. If you've already done this, then use needle nose, picks, whatever is necessary to get easy out out. If easy out doesn't work, drill bolt and hole completely out to the next size up, tap it and use a threaded insert. Or tap the hole to the next size bigger if you have room for a larger bolt size. Oh yea, make sure that you put a starter indent in the very center of the bolt you're drilling out and drill it straight. Good luck.

What up kyle? By buddies and I bought a 12ft.zodiak on Saturday. Paid $500 bucks for the boat and 2 20 horse motors. They have the same problem as yours. The bolts are corroded in the threads and we broke the bolt heads off. All I have to do hopefully is to re-wire one engine and it should work. We're pretty stoked to get it going. Good luck on yours, hope to get out on it soon.

When some wild eyed, 8 foot tall maniac grabs your neck and taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall and looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you, "Have you paid your dues?" You just stare that big sucker right back in the eye and you remember what old RickDawg always says at a time like that. "Have you paid your dues yet Rick? Yes sir,the check is in the mail."
