Jetty rocks
Anybody ever spear the jettys at mayport or Fernandia Beach ?

Vis at Mayport Jetties is very bad, usually around 5' at best. If that's your gig, then you can find flounder in the sand and of course there are sheephead there.
There are some laws about spearing near a jetty. Something about having to be so many feet out. |

Never have dove it but long time ago used to go sheephead fishing it.I think if I tried it it would have to be ocean side.

I've dove the Jetties a couple of times. I have dove with 3' vis up to 10' vis. Mainly sheepsheads and flounder ( one was 22" ). The rules are you have to be on the last 500 yards of jetties that are at least 1500 yards long. Mayport is a liittle past the slight bend I think. If you go on the weekend beware all the boats.
