Hoghunter in the Grounds

Hoghunter went to the grounds with a Sarasota crew this time. Mekanic and Herc83 (Steve & Mike) are on board with some friends and family. Total of 7 divers on board this trip. They have done two drops this morning and have some grouper in the box. Hoghunter said his groupers were a real nice size but no other details. They are in the NW section on the grounds working their way south in case they need to come in if the weather changes. It is flat calm out there right now.

Will do my normal nightly report when they call in tonight.

Re: Hoghunter in the Grounds

Everyone has some fish. Not limited out yet. More hogs on board than grouper. Vis is decent. Waves are ~1 foot. Diving the south grounds in the am. Sounds like everyone is having a good time. Maybe some of the Sarasota crew will post when they get in.

I am glad the weather is holding out for them. I think it will be bumpy on the way in tomorrow but we will see.

Good night.

Re: Hoghunter in the Grounds

Wow, What a great weekend in the MG W/ H/H. We had flat seas accept for the ride out which still wasn't that bad. We killed alot of fish Sat. and not very many Sunday. Saturday ruined us with the amount of fish the Capt. put us on. Will post pictures and some poundages tomorow. If you stayed home because of the iffy weather that stinks.

Re: Hoghunter in the Grounds

Did you guys get the hogs on the 7 Hogs spot? Where are the fish pics? Guess, you won't be going this weekend. If the front for this weekend stalls out, I'll be looking for a ride. Want to go one more time before heading up for deer hunting in the U.P. of Mich. on 11/11.

Cool - our boat made it into someone's avatar!! That is a great picture to blow up and hang at home. I'm glad everyone had a good time.
