Hey guys,

I remember a while ago I found a link to a website about this certain hole that was extremely deep. I can't remember the site and was curious if anyone knew what I was talking about.

The only think I really remember is that this hole is extremely deep and that it's on a beach, pretty much smack dab in the middle of a beach. I can't remember if it was freshwater or saltwater but I vaguely remember people diving in it.

Anyone have any idea?

Lol, I don't know of any specific hole on a beach, minus the spouting holes on the Hawaiian coastline. Those, however, I don't think are diveable. There are some deep and clear freshwater springs that I have seen pictures of on this site. Those are in Florida, and I'm sure one of those boys can enlighten you.

deans blue hole in the bahamas? close enough to a beach, and it more than qualifies on the deep requirement..

paris hilton may be deep enough too, but who'd wanna suit up an go diving in there :S there are some things that just shouldnt be dealt with, on a moral basis, and she is one of them !

There is a deep hole in Malibu. Some of the fishing boats out of Channel Islands fish it. I don't know of anyone that has dove it.

I think I've seen it mentioned frequently in the fishing reports in Western Outdoor News, but I never paid much attention because I've never heard it mentioned by divers.

I just noticed that this thread is in the Off Topic forum. Its my impression that a lot of California divers don't even read Off Topic, so you might get more response in the California forum.

Of course I'm assuming that since you live in California, you are looking for a California spot. If not, disregard this post.
