I know about a year ago a few folks tried to get a group together to talk spearing and I think it just kinda died.....seems like we have a pretty good number of new spearers in the area and thought it might be good to get together, have a beer and talk spearing and sh#t....if there is any interest out there I would love it and recommend some monday night get together maybe down by St Aug so anyone south of us could come up as well.

I am in too, st augustine is 20 minutes for me.
maybe we should hold the meeting at the pink pony in daytona, that should get a good turnout, we could talk about spearing fish there

st augustine we could meet at a place on us1 called dicks wings. it is south of town by about 5 miles on the east side of us1 just south of the creek / river by 1 block. just a suggestion , I am too broke for a strip club anyway

There is a dive club / group that is starting up here in Jax. Not everyone is a spearfisher but they will all be divers. If we are worried about having a good turnout why don’t we join up with them and have one big meeting? http://scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=173186 Just a thought….

i say we do it this next monday the 29th, st augustine would be probably the most centrally located to everyone. if anyone has a suggestion to where they think would be a cool place to hangout. the place I suggested Dicks wings seems pretty cool it is not in a spot where it will be too crowded and it is a pretty new spot. I have heard it is good for the wings, kinda like kerrs wing house and hooters type place.
