Last spearfishing trip of year.. and good shooting and eating

Well the water temp should put me out or reach for diving.. Im a wimp for water colder than 70 degrees.. Just cant enjoy diving when its cold water.. Here is a Pic of my last spearfishing trip.. Hey dave.. note the shooting here.. all head shots, and most brain shots.. LOL.. just picking on you about your big gag.. Nice fish by the way and the pic came out great... you need to go to the site for the St. Pete spearfishing club and check out the gag that won this years contest.. they said its 55 pounds and it looks about half as big as yours!!! the guy is holding it up over his head and the fish looks like maybe a 25 pounder or so.. check it out and let me know what you think about it...

My guess is scale is off.. My hog fish weighed 2.9 pounds, and I thought it was at least 30 pounds!!!! LOL.. Oh well, maybe that scale is off when the fish are over 20 pounds.. dont know and cant prove it anyway... Dave.. I have to get with you and give you numbers, and get mine and pete's shaft back sometimes.. maybe we can meet half way somewhere and eat dinner with the wives!!! let me know when you can make it...thanks...

Looks smaller

That link to the grouper looks smaller but the guy is probably holding the tail straight out with his left hand and has the body and head laying way back towards his body to make it a finky perspective...

In any case, y'alls grouper look WAY bigger and fatter than that one. Must be the photoshop.

Damn I guess I'll take the credit for taking a great pic and putting you on MY fish.or was that Shooter Dan's fish (we both have chased it in past weeks).....If I can ever get my scanner to start responding I'll scan the remaining pics from that trip. ...Have to admit that pic gave the fish it's due justice....

Dubull Trouble/Dave, ESPN called and wanted to know if I would put one of their seasoned shooters on some of those ledges for their next show since you bailed on them. I explained their not seasoned until they have proved there worthy on the JR11 and D4B has approved them...... .....and if they really want to prove something spend the time on the Grounds Keeper..

The Chicks from FISH ON called and they want to do a show on spearfishing and ask me to consult.

I get to hold their fins steady as they shoot. Anyone ever help a chick learn to surf knows the advantage of this view point.

I may need two others to assist. I mean, there are three chicks and I don't want to damage my shaft showing all three how to handle the Big Gun.

Looks as if the weather will suck this weekend on both coasts.

Anyone up for Shooting some clays this weekend?

Speck fishing?

Bingo?

I hear you brother....can't take much more of the honey do's....bought an underwater video for are upcoming trips....we could always dive Egmont Channel between freighters or dive Tampa Bay artificial reefs.

PS... I got ya covered with Fish on girls, I'll cover the shaft placement and penatration topics..

I shoot Sporting Clays and Trap sometimes on Sat at the Eustis Gun Club. Pretty cheap for members (Trap is $3 round, Clays are $7). Anybody else shoot?
