I went out yesterday, and it took Keezdiver and I an hour and a half to try and hook up to the sub-surface ball on the Thunderbolt. The current was ripping, you had to pull yourself down the line. Even skindiving you had to do the breast stroke and you couldn't swim against it. If you are new to diving do not try to dive in these conditions, it was bad. Both Keezdiver and I decided the only way it would be worth it is if the vis was 150' or better. Yesterday the vis on the wreck was 15', not worth the effort.
We moved into the reef for some freediving, and shot a few fish. Jeff got an amazing 31" hog while on scuba in 80'. I'm enviuos.
