2007 TBSC Winter Invitational Spearfishing Tournament The first annual “TBSC Winter Invitational Spearfishing Tournament” is scheduled for March 24, 2007 at the Ft. Desoto Boat Ramp in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Tournament Pictures
There are more floating out there right now but here's what I have.

I'd like to first thank all the volunteers, club members and participants for helping make this first tournament a great success It's only going to get better from here on out!! I'd also like to thank my friend Matt G., aka as the "Cuda man" for taking all the donated fish (cuda, sheepshead, etc.) for his stone crab traps.

We had a difficult time finding keeper AJ's and cuda that weren't skittish My friend Ben perforated his ear drum on a dive where his dive partner Jimmy Reitz lost a 70 lb cobia that completely pretzeled his Riffe shaft So yeah, we had a difficult day. Nonetheless it was an awesome day of diving and shooting fish even though the vis was almost too good.

I apologize for the change of image quality. Spearboard's photo size limit is being crushed by the original images so I have had to reduce the file size even more.

Again, I apologize for the image quality, as stated above I had to resize and save them into a lower file size in order to post them. I have the originals and if anyone would like a copy just send me a PM and I'll get you a CD.

Bryan, Make sure you don't confuse a sheephead with a black drum. Here are some examples.
