Wetsuit Measurements

I'm thinking of getting a Diveskin custom wesuit and I was wondering about measurements. If I go to a tailor will those measurements transfer over well to a wetsuit? Or should I just do it myself?

Also, is there anyone out there that is around 5'10, 155lbs that uses a Diveskin size off the the rack?

Thanks

Re: Wetsuit Measurements

You can do the measurements yourself. It really is not that hard. Just double check and do the conversions. Remember 1in=2.54cm

Re: Wetsuit Measurements

If you're gonna order from Diveskin, might as well take the few minutes and do the measurements. A custom suit for cheaper than most off the wall suits here is the way to go...

Re: Wetsuit Measurements

I measured myself and it worked out great. At least it was closer then any off the rack suit probably would have been. Then again I dont see many suits for 6'5 175lbs. type folk.

I try to steer clear of the mom shit, even if it is a joke.
No offense taken.

Re: Wetsuit Measurements

I measured myself (actually, my wife did) for two suits from Aquaflite. No problems at all. Custom is the ONLY way to go for fit and warmth.

It seems we have the two extremes here.
