It might still be stirred up in the coves since they don't get as much water flushed through as the other spots. I've found that, as long as it doesn't get a dead on hit, shaws will have OK vis but if it does get stirred up then it stays crappy for longer. TI has been the same way for me too.

I don't know how fast it can clear up in some of those Laguna coves, but it was blowing so hard in San Clemente this afternoon that the rattling windows and the howl of the wind interfered with my nap.

While I'm working on it, I'm not very good at naps yet. In this case, I had not been getting good sleep lately due to lingering shoulder pain, and then the night before I got to bed at 11:30 and was awake at 4 AM, so I gave it a try.

BTW, its dead still down here now, with no breeze at all.

Re: laguna, Friday. Anyone interested?

I'm going to be in Marina Del Rey for a business meeting tomorrow morning, but then I have the rest of the weekend to hunt. All I keep hearing is bad news, but suddenly, there are 2 positive sounding posts in a row about so-cal conditions. I'm starting to get that lucky/itchy palm feeling again.

hey just to be able to have the time to take a nap in the day would be nice. But then again my goal in life is to retire. so hey, good for you! most people in Ca can never retire!
