Hey everyone, just thought I'd give a heads up on these guys. They are a local group (gang) in the La Jolla (San Diego) Bird Rock area and they have made some news lately in a killing and several people have been beaten for no reason around the shack area etc...

Do a little research to find more about the goings on. There's also a lot in the rants and raves on craigslist about it.

Be careful out there.

Sounds like it is only a problem if you are diving from the shore at Wind and Sea or Bird Rock? I am not that familiar with the area.

It's in todays Union Tribune....four were arrested for killing another...and funny thing...the incident started at the La Jolla Brew House. Go Figure.

Yeah that was reported in Last nights Sign on SD.... There were allot of comments and people reporting run ins wth these punks. Today those were gone but a new article and new comments.
They stomped his head against the curb. F***ers!
They have a history of cracking peoples heads open.
Two of the guys were only 20 ...so the LJ Brewhouse is gonna be in big trouble.
I wouln't be surprized if these were the same "crew" who left a guy beaten to death in the Tourmaline bathroom a year or two ago.
It's what happens when Testosterone thinks it's owns the beach. Same old Sh*t has always been around.

Sounds like some spoiled kids with nothing to do. I hope they get a couple lifetime prison sentances so they can see how tough they really are. What a bunch of punks.

Dont worry. The bird rock bandits and wsr respect freedivers. Its the body boarding that they aren't down with. And no the Tourmaline bathroom incident was not brb or wsr. It was some drug addict from the point mad about some bullshit. I think hes dead now.
