Bug hunting report...Seal Rock

We launched last night at 8pm and made way to North Laguna, to Seal Rock/Deadmans Reef. At 35' the currents were so incredibly strong, we were tossed around like all the other little fishes. Bumping into rocks and overhangs, it was not good diving conditions. Vis was 3 feet at best.
The bugs were out in full force tonight. We each ended up with 5. My buddy nabed one that measured at 6 1/4 inches.(3 inches larger than legal size of 3 1/4) Huge!
Best hunt so far/worst conditions so far. Im spending my time at work picking out all the frikin urchin spines that cover my arms/sholders. Who wants to volunteer to pick the spines out of my ass? My buddy even tore his wetsuit from slamming against the reef.
56 minute dive, .85 miles covered. Bugs caught in 25-30', and at temp of 59-60*.

Good luck everyone, be safe!
Kyle
