Red face LIL Southern Open Redemption ; )

After having some boat troubles on the west coast for the Southern Open I decided to race home and give it a try out of Sebastian.

Easy slow day, Buddy took wife and kids but we managed 3 drops each. All of them pretty good ones for both of us. Biggest Gag was 37.6, Red Snapper between 13-17, Mangoes to 8.5, some nice 7 lb sheephead as well all gutted weights.

Vis was 10-15 temp was warm, never checked and fish were everywhere. Limit of Gags and Red Snapper with a bunch of nice Mangoes, Sheephead and a few Triggerfish I chased Kingfish and Spanish mackeral all day but never got one, let a few 70 + pound Aj's swim by and saw several little blackTip sharks, at least 30 big Jewfish. Also shot another Lionfish on a ledge in 110 today, 3rd one in as many weeks out of Sebastion

It wont be long before the vis shuts down the bad thermoclines roll in get out while you can.

Very nice man! I've been seing tons of those darn lionfish lately. I don't want to waste the time shooting them but I really wish they were not all over the place.

Both. Did hit some of our real good Gag numbers only to find Goliaths, kinda frustrating but we managed. Wrecks didn't have very good vis, we found our best vis in 65-85 feet.
