Albacore/WSB update...7/10

As of this am, the albies and some bluefin are holding between the 181 and 182 banks to slightly inside...chlorophyll charts show good feed from a couple of miles offshore out to a n/s temp break with clear water...I would work a n/s line along the banks up to the 14 mile bank based on the charts...hot jig this morning was the small Catchy Tackle spinner jig in black/purple...now, which spearboy is going to be the first to spear an albie? P.S. Kelly took some fishermen out to St. Martin Island (Baja) where the yellows and halibut have been showing near the main cove...the dogs were taking their fish, until a great white surfaced and started eating the dogs...beeg wsb and halibut are showing again 7-8 miles above Marina Del Rey...larger yellows currently on backside of Catalina, so, don't go in with a little reef gun setup...

Re: Albacore update...7/10

Southbound is more than welcome to take over and condense all the info available from the other sources, including deckhands...then, I can just sit back and lurk like some of the other guys who contribute little to nothing.....in fact, after looking up Southbound's input for the past two months, there is not one fish report in the bunch....talk about lurkers.....o.k. I am over it....

Its about 26 miles due west of Point Loma and yes it is in US waters. We probably were fishing with 40 other boats on a TUESDAY.

Seriously Southbound, have a spoonfull of STFU. Bob, keep up with the reports, most of us honestly appreciate your effort.

Hey man, Even though Bob demoted me to junior frogmn status for being scared of a 700# mako, his reports have put me, and many others on this board, on a bunch of fish.

How many people on here have you helped find fish southbound?

Bob knows his sh%t. I've lost track of the times I've gotten off the water after "finding" a pocket of big fish with no one else around only to check the board to see a post from Bob saying people might want to check that area out.

Keep the reports coming Bob.

Check out the following site from a buddy boater. He organized the coordinates in a very nice format.
