Sheepshead...Out of season?????

Is the Sheepshead out of season for us spearos? If I read the DFG book correctly, it states that you cannot harvest Sheepshead from a depth greater than 120'. We saw another huge one last night, and it just wants to end up on my BBQ. Anyone know the correct rules and regs for Sheepshead?

Nope, I didnt shoot him. I have seen him 3 times now in the same cave. Eventually, when the time is right, I will feed him my cold steel.

There was a wolf eel at the end of the jetty at the wedge, everyone knew him and he would eat outa your hand. One day in the mid 80s some moron wacked him, and then in a infinite display of stupidity asked if anyone wanted to have it cuz he wasn:t even sure if they were edible. I'm a slinger too, so I don:t mean to be tree-hugger/preachy (cuz tree huggers taste great with a little lemon), just thought it was cool that you guys IDd the oldies and the pets.
