Re: C4 mustang fins
Dabeer, I've been using the c4 flaps (30's) in omer pockets for a little over 4 months and love them. I haven't had any issues with them delaminating, cracking, or breaking, but I also tend to be pretty careful in the water with them. The flap on the end is VERY thin and I therefore never push off the bottom with them and avoid hitting the ends on the bottom at all. They are also really good on the surface, very quiet but have plenty of power to swim against a current. I've used them at least once per week for 4 months and they look brand new, I hope you like yours when you get them.

Re: C4 mustang fins
I've allways been a big fan of the Cressi long fins.......until some 10 years ago i met the C4 , since then I've used the initial ones 25, then falcon 25 and 30 and after a knee operation, a 15 shorter than usual that marco made for me .....they are all great, I use them with the original footpockets and they work great. The 40's I tried were some how too rigid for me and I know that the 80's are suggested for deep freediving , but not very much for surface swimming ( btw a certain Umberto pellizzari uses them ) . I am willing to try the Mustangs, my friends are all very happy about them and some of them are professional freedivers and spearfishermen, but as I do not go very deep and frequently change spot, they look some how complicated to put on and off each time I go back into my RIB. I am btw , well, ....let's say.....not as skinny and agile as many of you, indeed I am 5" 10' and weigh 250 pounds moreless ;-), and whenever I go back to the Cressi's I find the HD too tiresome , While the LD lack power when you kick back to the surface and are heavily weighted. So get a pair of Falcon or mustangs in an average stiffness like a 30 and enjoy the new world ...then you may want to changethem and will have no difficulties in selling htem back
Ciao

Sacha, we get it, you are a big boy.
I really like my c-4, 80s, am a small guy, 5.7, 165 pounds, and I move them really easy, no big deal, other than always been afraid of breaking them and a mess to put on due to its length. They do look good on pics. |

Re: C4 mustang fins
Well thanks again I ended up getting a good deal on a set of picassos but they feel very fragile and i still think i am going to get a set of 80s the picassos seem to stiff and short but they are very powerful the omer ice blade broke on my reef set so im scared to do any reef diveing and gone more to bluewater the last 3 weeks well thanks for the help everyone.
