Lost Killin' tool

Found a "killin' tool" on the ledge at Area 51 in Jupiter yesterday. Describe what you lost and it is yours. Found in the sand, and it hadn't been there more than 3-4 days. I dropped right on top of it while DM'ing at JDC.

That's good on you Shaft'o'death!

I asked and offered the same question a few years ago, but the Middle Grounds in summer is a pretty big place and nobody stepped forward.

I hope you find the rightful owner.

I know the elated feeling of finding a lost gun when all seems dark... it's a rush!

Re: Lost Killin' tool

probably one of the coolest thing people do on here is post up things of value that they found on a dive so that the rightful owner has a chance to get it back. kudos to you

I agree. Pretty clever not to give away exactly what you found too.

Re: Lost Killin' tool

MY buddy lost his teak gun a week ago. I can ask him the brand. It is two piece. He usually has a egg shaped bottom fishing type lead attached via swivel to the handle. No spare shaft. If I am close, I will call him and ask the model. Thanks.

Re: Lost Killin' tool

I lost a .357 magnum. S&W model 686p. Stainless, 6" barrel with Trijicon sights. Black rubber grip, with blood and hair embedded in the butt of the grip. Serial numbers filed off and all prints removed. If you find it, it's not mine. But please find another place to throw it back in the ocean. Preferably somewhere deeper and less likely to have an Open Water class drop in on it.

Re: Lost Killin' tool

I checked with my buddy. The gun is a 48in AB Biller. It may not have the egg weight on it though.

So far, I have not found any of the above mentioned items. But I will keep an eye out for those too. I will continue to hold this item for a period of time. And if anyone comes to me with the description, it will remain theirs. I don't want it, if I didn't pay for it.

Doug, thanks, but Petra found my Biller.
Maybe something preyed on a spearo.
