Did Kid Chris go to the Mg in the Donzi today?

At noon the seas were only 1-2' out there. I should have taken the day off!!!

Not only that the revised forcast calls for only 2 to 4 ft. seas. What is your take?

It was glass all day. We got a late start leaving tarpon about 7:00 getting there a little after 9. It was beautiful! This was the first grounds trip on the new boat, and we had headed to the grounds with '3' numbers graciously donated to us by spearboards own Iron Chef. We didnt even end up getting to those numbers, we mostly just putted around to find new stuff. First drop was on a spot we had rod/reeled some keeper red grouper and a big AJ. Depth 120' ft, vis top to bottom! Awesome! The temp was 73', it is starting to get a little chilly. I Dropped on a big hog(ended up about 13lb) I had seen since about the 20' mark at the beginning of my descent. Nailed him, also seeing 2 decent gags on the drop down. Pat and I also got some nice mango's and barjack on the dive. Next couple dives we put afew more grouper including a big toad pat got and some more nice mango's. We couldn't find the gags! We only ended up doing three dives. It was an awesome 1st trip to break in the new boat.

John hope yall found some more gags up north. How did you do?

Glad you had a great trip with no problems!!!

I can always look at the photo album to remember what nice fish look like or on Spearboard. I'm in the hunting whitetail mode and gettting everything ready for thursdays afternoon flight. Escanaba,Mi. has a temp. around 25 and feeling like 15 with residual snow. Save me a spot in Dec., if the weather cooperates.
