Saturday vis in Laguna
Gat-ku polespears and halibut heads - it's like the things are magnets for each other.
Had to run up to Laguna yesterday on a buisness matter, so I used that as an excuse for a quick dive between Bluebird canyon and Thalia street. Vis varied from 6-15 feet - murkier on the surface from the rain, clearer underneath. Swell is dropping rapidly. Not much bait around, but I did manage a decent size halibut, a nice rockfiah and 1 bug for about 45 minutes in the water. Lots of nice size sandies hanging around too. I got in after the high tide - maybe 2 pm, vis was probably better earlier. |
