Brave Spearos Heading Out Tomorrow

All the reports suck big time. Milky green, no viz water. One was a bit more promising, so off we go out of Lake Worth Inlet tomorrow.
Will it be one and done? Who knows, but the first dive will be in 115-130 sfw, so if nothing is working it will be just lobster-brail diving.
The laser is ready to go, the pony is filled and I'm jonesin' like a crack addict. Hope I don't see my desk until after 3 o'clock.

good luck. i heard the viz was really bad. i was told that the crabs were on the surface, which happens when the bottom is stirred up a lot.

I don't know about palm beach it is pretty far away from ponce but I was told it was completely blacked out 22 miles offshore out of ponce and jacksonville on sunday. good luck at least you only have to go out a few miles and not 20 or more to find out.

Re: Brave Spearos Heading Out Tomorrow

Short story is that there is some viz just outside the range buoy at Lake Worth. Some slight north current, with good water viz at around 25 feet. SOme other spots are 5-12 feet. Water is still warm and swarming with bugs, some hogs, muttons and whatever we couldn't see.
Totals:
8-bugs and 3-hogs
Shafto'death, Alex, Capt. John, Capt. Tony, Mike? and myself.
Last dive saved the day, THX John.
Here is a rather questionable shot taken by SHaftO', though Alex's wasn't much bigger. John shot a 4-5 lb. hog to help us save face.
If you are from Jersey the diving was like that, but with warm water.
Laser worked well for spotting lobsters, but I never pulled the trigger. Next time!

first let me start by saying what a pleasurable and educational experience it was diving with a spearo of your caliber demonstrating the capabilities of your high powered laser oh that's right you admitted you didn't pull the trigger once not even when you said there was a HUGE trigger fish harrasing you all dive . and my hoggie was a womping 14 to the fork you did do a hell of a job picking up all those shorties

What's for dinner at your house?? :toast
Looking forward to the next trip just hope to have some viz.
Alex
