*Shore Diving La Jolla*

hey guys
I have been fishing (not diving) the La Jolla Canyons by boat lobstering and during the summer months. I was wondering if anyone was willing to fill me in on any good shore diving locations that access the canyons or kelp beds from the La Jolla shores?

pretty much any street with access to the beach is a good place to shore dive. just pick one, and if you dont like the structure, move to another. everybody and their mom goes to marine st, so that might be a good place to start. you might meet some divers.

just north of the childrens pool is cool. unless you think seals will die if they get in the water

I have been south just under the lifegaurd tower station. I was wondering mostly if you can hit any one the two canyons from a shore diver?

if you can find the canyon to fish it how come you can't find it to dive it? Just go to the same area but instead of taking your fishing rod take your dive gear. As for the lobstering during the summer months, you probably shouldn't post about that here. Maybe just fill out your lobster report card in July or August and send it right to the DFG.
