Cabo fishing
I'm heading down to Cabo next week for the first time for some HL panga fishing. Can anyone tell me what the process is for bringing fish back? Can I obtain airline approved boxes/icechests in Cabo? Can I have the fish packaged/frozen? I guess I shoulda looked this up sooner, but, its kinda a spur of the moment thing.

Re: Cabo fishing
Frozen in ziploc bag, no ice, in cooler. Get some duct tape--you will need to tape it up after inspection. You will be fine with that.
You can buy a cooler at the Costco in Cabo. Check with your panga captain. Most of them have access to a freezer or freezing facility to store fish for their guests. Hotels often do as well. Good luck.

I'm at the airport in la Paz leaving in minutes I didn't want to bring an icechest from the boat so I just froze it and put it in ziplocs inside my new armor speargun bag they said it was waterproff so I told the girl who checked it that it was a thermic bag for keeping fish in after you spear them so I got my wong my euro and five gallon bags of Yellowtail in the same bag, getting loaded on the plane right now, no problem.
