Fins in the pool

I just picked up a pair of Cressi gara 3000's, and I am just curious as to whether the chlorine in a pool will damage them, or if they will hold up fine so long as I rinse them thoroughly after i swim with them.

Re: Fins in the pool

I spend a fair amount of time in the pool each year in diving equipment. Just rinse your fins with fresh water and there will be no problems at all.

Re: Fins in the pool

I'm not even sure I'd bother rinsing. Before it runs thru my home water purification system, my tap water has more chlorine than my pool does!

Re: Fins in the pool

No need to rince at all. No effect whatsoever.
