anyone dive for abalone in oregon

i hunt a lot around here, but just wondering if there is any abalone around here?
is it worth my time to look for em? if so any general area's?

Hey Jon, I am in Nor Cal but hoping to move up toward the end o' summer. I here that about half way up the state is the end of their range, if that helps. Hows the hunting otherwise? When I do come up Id love to hunt with someone who knows the area if you're down. Only freediving for me though. Peace.

I saw you at Tino's Big ab/ling comp. You got 1st or 2nd with your ab didn't you? I'll go anytime you want. I'm down in southern oregon (brookings.) I actually wanted to talk to you or Justin about what Eureka was like.
