Practicing Breath Hold Close Call

So today after studying all day I decided to take a break and go wash my dirtbike. As I was hosing it down I decided to practice my breath hold. The first few times went fine. Then I knelt down to scrub the rim(while holding my breath) and when I stood back up all hell broke loose. Everything went black and I got extremely dizzy. This lasted for a good 10 seconds. I fell like I was gonna fall down and somehow felt the bike and used it for support.
After everything went back to normal I was seeing stars for a few minutes, and had a weird feeling in my head that felt kinda good.

Moral of story: washing dirtbike and practicing breath hold is not a good idea.

This happens when you move from a sitting position to a standing one when you are holding your breath. I believe it has to do with the change in blood pressure(it drops) and so you can pass out. Glad to hear nothing went wrong and be safe.

Stan the other guy who fell into his trunk was sitting down and stood up as well.

Nick may be right.

I may have to test it in a very soft area

This is a common test done in hospitals to gauge a variety of things about the body's health, an orthostatic test. For healthy individuals, the main thing that causes dizziness (caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure) is dehydration. If you ever go to the hospital with something like a viral infection and have to receive IV fluids, they may from time to time make you sit up and eventually stand up and monitor your blood pressure as an indicator of how good you done been doing.
