Spearfishing in Keywest and Marathon
My two friends and I recently got back from spearfishing in the keys. We had great viz the whole trip, one day even having 70 feet. Out of keys west we went out with Mobile Diver. We got bunch of hogs and a few muttons and mangroves and one real nice red grouper weighing right at 15 pounds, not the smartest fish but we were happy to eat him. In marathon we got lots of hogs and mangroves. Keezdiver took us out one day and we shot a bunch of random fish including a legal dolphin in 40 feet of water, a sheepshead, some triggerfish, a mackerel and hogs and mangroves, and saw a 12-foot hammerhead shark. Overall a great trip and we can’t wait to get back down there.
