Scuba Pro D400 Reg
Does anyone have any first hand experience with these? I came across a used one in nice condition but they appear to be out of production.
Would there be any servicing issues on such an item? Thanks in advance... |

I always thought the regs worked great, but they're a bit unique in their design. You shouldn't have a problem getting them serviced, but you want to go to someone that works on a lot of Scubapro. It's a tough reg to service occasionally, but techs that have done a bunch have no problem.

The 400 is out of production but scubapro continues to make parts for all their regs. The d400 is popular with the deep divers. In a way the 400 is still around as the X650. It is basically a 400 with inhalation adjustment added. If it is in good conditiona nd the price is right I would get it.

Thanks for the tips. It is in perfect condition, but I fear the owner may want a 100% return on his "investment" he made 8 years ago.
